Does anyone know if the currah microspeech synthesizer would initialise directly with a +128 or +2? Obviously there's no opportunity to select 48k before switching on!

I missed this post - not really something I have any experience of...

I should imagine it would initialise OK, but may be only useable from 48K BASIC.

Best bet is to ask on the World of Spectrum forums - lot more Spectrum users on there!
