Further to requests by users, we have arranged for some replacement keyboard membranes to be made for the Amstrad CPC664

People have asked about membranes for the CPC464 and CPC6128 - the issue is always about getting sufficient interest in any new production run.

We assume the CPC464 and CPC6218 used different keyboard membranes.
We understand that the CPC464+ and CPC6218+ used the same membrane however.

So what interest would there be in other keyboard membranes and which are the most needed?

Hi Rwap, what's the status on the replacement keyboard membranes these days? Do you have them available or do you still wait until there's sufficient interest before production?

There is just not enough interest in CPC464 and 6128 membranes - in 99% of cases, they just need a clean if they are non-working.

After all, people do not realise that each new production run means an investment of around £4,500 - not exactly something to just take a risk that the membranes will sell eventually...
