Sell My Retro Site

Post by RWAP » Thu Nov 26, 2009 1:18 pm

Well, we have now got out of the beta testing stage of the new site for bringing traders and collectors / buyers of vintage and retro computers and electronics equipment.

We have even begun to list items on sellmyretro.com which is aimed to be an alternative to eBay - more features will be added over the coming months, but the main engine is up and running - you can now buy, sell and bid for items on the site.

We are just ironing out some issues with the postage charges - these should be done in the next few days.

The site is written using the exciting new Enuuk auction platform from well-known company PHPAuction who have many years experience of writing auction platforms. We have also written our own modules to help others looking to implement this type of auction platform:
- Item Condition Module
- Default Language Module
- Google Base Submission Module
- Webstore Enhancements (list even empty webstores and link webstores to a given category)
- Image Handling Module (create thumbnails and add a watermark)
- Sell Item in this Category link
- Item Payment Options

See http://www.rwapservices.co.uk/enuuk_modules.html if you are interested in getting hold of these modules.
