Further to requests by users, we have arranged for some replacement keyboard membranes to be made for the Amiga A500 and A600 computers.

These are available from:
http://www.sellmyretro.com/offer/detail ... ranes-2871
and

People have asked about membranes for the A1200 - the issue is always about getting sufficient interest in any new production run and the market is not helped by the number of different keyboards / membranes for each computer in the Amiga line.

We managed to merge two versions of the A500 and A500+ Mitsumi keyboard membranes together to allow one replacement (whether your keyboard has 94 or 96 keys!). Unfortunately there was at least three other keyboards for the A500 for which these membranes are not suitable - one version by Samsung had 2 keyboard connectors, keyboards made by Cherry (with the C= key instead of the left Amiga key) and by NME (these have red Amiga keys).

The A600 membranes were designed after consultation with Amiga users on other forums - where it transpired that the most common were the Mitsumi A600 Blue membrane and the Mitsumi A600 Green membrane. Unfortunately, the two membranes had different shapes and therefore could not be merged. Even worse, since getting these made, it has been pointed out that Mitsumi made another green A600 keyboard membrane for the Australian market (!) which has a larger left SHIFT key.

Why the Amiga market was so complex is beyond us!

So what interest would there be in other keyboard membranes and which are the most needed?
